From Villa Caunedo, we suggest two alternative morning plans, depending on the group’s pace:
Option 1: High mountain – Alto de la Farrapona & Saliencia Lakes
An excursion to Alto de la Farrapona, featuring wide mountain meadows and open panoramic views. From here, well-marked trails lead to the Saliencia Lakes.

Option 2: Valle del Lago, on foot or horseback
A route through Valle del Lago, ideal for a more relaxed plan. It can be explored on foot or on horseback, an option especially popular with families.

La Cuadra is a former barn converted into a fully equipped kitchen and dining space with two ovens, ideal for organising a group dinner. The small wine fridge makes it easy to enjoy a relaxed after-dinner conversation.
Or outdoors – Barbecue and wood-fired oven
If the weather allows, dinner can be prepared in the outdoor area, with a barbecue and wood-fired oven, perfect for cooking al fresco and sharing the moment together.
After dinner
Relax in El Refugio del Oso, by the fireplace, chat, and end the day in a warm and cosy atmosphere.
Sunday – Viewpoints, cider and farewell
Morning
A walk to the Caunedo Viewpoint, just a few metres from the accommodation and easily accessible on foot, offering views over the valley, its meadows and traditional brañas.
