The Montegrande Beech Forest

The Montegrande Beech Forest, located in the heart of the Cantabrian Mountains, to the south of the municipality of Teverga, is the third largest forested area in Asturias, after Muniello and Peloño. The Montegrande Beech Forest stands out for its wild, peaceful and uncrowded character, making it ideal for those seeking an authentic nature experience.

An Exceptional Forest

Formed mainly by centuries-old beech trees, the forest creates a magical atmosphere, especially in autumn, when the ground is covered with golden and ochre leaves. The light filtering through the trees and the absence of noise turn the walk into an almost contemplative experience.
