The Montecarcedo Pine Forest
The Montecarcedo Pine Forest is one of the most distinctive and lesser-known areas of Somiedo Natural Park. Unlike the beech and oak forests that dominate the region, this enclave is characterised by its pine woodland, creating a different and very special landscape within the park.
A Unique Forest
The pine forest offers a calm and bright atmosphere, with open clearings that provide wide views over the valleys of Somiedo. It is an ideal setting for relaxed walks, nature photography and moments of tranquillity away from more crowded routes.
